Basket Bags & Bingo

Our largest fundraiser is held once a year in early February. This fun event offers people the chance to win beautiful Vera Bradley bags, theme baskets for any occasion, as well as silent auction prizes, all of which help us to raise money for scholarships for local students, and help local charities within our community.

Luncheon with Mr. and Mrs. Santa

Each year, we host a lunch with Mr. & Mrs. Santa at West Park United Methodist Church in Bridgeton. Children of all ages are served a hot lunch and get to meet and have their picture taken with Mr. & Mrs. Santa. After lunch, children can have their faces painted, be read a story, create an ornament in our craft room, play a game in the game room, or shop for Mom, Dad, Grandma & Grandpa in our shopping room, where nothing is priced over $.50 (and no Moms and Dads are allowed to peek!). Club members will then custom wrap each gift for the children, so they are ready to go under the tree. Adults can shop at our Cobweb Corner or Bake Sale as well.

Nut Sale

Beginning in October, and running through the holiday season, our club holds its annual Nut Sale. Over 1,500 pounds of cashews, pecans, walnuts, mixed nuts and dried fruit are sold throughout the community. Some members are actually know as "nut ladies" to people who look forward each year to the nut sale.

Game Night

Twice a year, around Halloween and Valentine's Day, we get together with family and friends to enjoy an evening of food, fellowship, and games of all sorts. Members bring an hors d'oeuvresor dessert, as well as a door prize to be given away. Prizes are also given for scariest, funniest, and most original costumes at our Halloween party.

Clipless Coupons

Each fall we also sell "clipless coupons" for $5.00. The cards contain discounts to local merchants including Marlboro Market, Friendly's, Di Lisi's, Once Upon a Time (consignment shop), Perk & Pantry, Hopewell Sub & Pizza, Big John's Pizza, The Gallery Diner, The Outlook Salon, Dare's Feed & Pet Supply, Diamonds & Designs, China Buffet, Vito's Restaurant, and 77 Day Cleaners.
