About SI of Cumberland County
We work through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. In the past, we have cooked dinner for the Ronald McDonald House; taught computer classes at a local women’s center; adopted a road for cleanup; collected and donated cell phones to local women’s centers, the office on aging and for the Safety Net Organization for at-risk children. Besides hands-on activities, we also raise funds by participating in several activities such as the local Peach Festival and a Lunch with Mr. & Mrs. Santa. Last year alone we awarded approximately $10,000. in scholarships and awards to local students, community members and organizations. To learn more about these awards please visit our Scholarship Opportunities and Our Service Projects pages.
